DATA PROTECTION --- PRIVACY POLICY

Swan Singers holds personal information for each member as follows:

• Title

• Name (includes Surname and First Name)

• Postal address, including Post Code

• Home telephone number

• Mobile telephone number (N.B: Either or both phone numbers may be used to produce a telephone tree for inter-member communication)

• E-mail address

You may decline any of the above data to be used by the Choir.

This data is stored in a secure paper file and held by the Secretary of the choir. In addition the e-mail addresses are placed in a secure computer system.  This information will not be passed on to any other third party organisation or individual. E-mail addresses are only available to the Secretary, Treasurer and the Musical Director.  They are used to inform members about choir activities or any other third party activity that may be of interest to the choir.

Should any member of the choir permanently leave the choir, their data will be deleted.

Choir members have the right to:

• View their details held by the Choir

• Object to the holding of this information and be removed from the list

• Have their details deleted

• Change their details as necessary.
